Can't get it to sharpen blade. Sorry!
No instruction provided, so set it up logically. I had to drill holes in the chain saw blade carriage to accept the device, but it did not sharpen the blade. Looking at other blade sharpeners, they sharpen each individual tooth and sharpen from a different angle. Am I doing it right?? No instructions so not sure!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of money
This does not sharpen all chainsaw blades you also need a special bar and chain for it to clip onto. The description is very misleading DO NOT BUY THESE ITEMS UNLESS YOU HAVE THE CORRECT BAR AND CHAIN

It doesn't work
Its cheap rubbish, it doesn't cut the teeth on the chainsaw blade to the correct angle so it just becomes blunt after another few minutes. The gadget becomes so hot after just a few seconds that the plastic melts and runs into the grinding stone which wears at an incredible rate. A great idea but it just doesn't work. This tool will ruin your chain
I am a toolmaker by trade and I can say this item is totally unsuited as a chain sharpener as it does not sharpen any of the required angles that the chain needs,it will just ruin the chain a standard round file will do a much better job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
