A Cracking Good Read
This is the last of Simon Raven's 'Alms for Oblivion' series of novels. In many ways it draws the various strnads together. A mixture of historic detective story, thriller and occult novel. It is best if you have read the previous novels first, but 'Come Like Shadows' can stand alone as a very good read.
