I suppose "quiet" depends totally on what your use to, however imho they are massively quieter than my jetflo 120 fans however the jetflo do pump out a third more air...personally i would recomend these case fans they are in my opinion very good at keeping the system cool, however it does of course depend on placement and room temp, so no point in quoting temps as yours may differ.

As a Pc case fan it the does the job, however my problem with it is that it was advertised as having a spin speed of 1000 rpm which would make it virtually silent unfortunately it spins at 1800 which means it can still be clearly heard particularly in a very quiet environment where this PC is being used.

I brought over 10 of these fans for different computers and i can say they are very quiet and good air flow but after a year or so they will start to develope a rattle and need replacing. I first thought it was a one off but 3 have all developed the same rattle and in different computers. While they last there awesome and great value for money. Fans usually need replacing every few years so i still find myself buying the sickle flow here and there. Hope that helps

The size and RPM of the fan blows lots of air in or out of the PC but it is a very loud fan. I can turn down most of my system fans with my fan controller, but this one blares out noise over the rest of the quiet ones.
