Good little cleaner
I have a cordless cleaner for everyday use but needed to replace my cylinder cleaner as it was too heavy and the pipe extender had broken. I chose this vacuum cleaner as it was lighter, it has plenty of power and a nice long cord. If I had one negative it would be that because it is lightweight it tends to turn over when pulling along whilst cleaning, but can soon be righted, and the whole point of me buying it was so that it was not so heavy to carry upstairs as my previous cylinder one, it also sits nicely on the stair treads which makes them easier and safer to clean. Cheap product and can be improved.
The vacuum cleaner seems powerful enough and hoovers well. It's a bit noisy at 75dB, which is median I suppose. (My Dyson generates 70dB.) The bad points are the hose is cheap plastic, the cable is filmsy too, clearly a cheap alternative. Also it does not come with many attachments. The most annoying problem is that the cylinder itself can topple over readily so it is smaller than I expected. At best, I give it 3-stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little vacuum
Great little vacuum. Suction is great and it is really easy to clean out if something larger than it can cope with gets stuck in the vortex mechanism - everything in that area simply dismantles to get to the filter etc. Emptying is a doddle - just remove the container and press a switch and the bottom hinges out. Unfortunately the waste does get caught in the bottom flap as it slides out and so it takes two hands to properly empty it, but that is not a significant issue. It rolls well when pulled by the hose and is very light to carry. Have been using it for 6 weeks now and am very pleased with the purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Handy size
This is a handy sized machine, especially for a smaller house. It has a good length lead but the metal tube isn't that long. I'm only 5'8" and I find it too short. Great suction power for a small hoover. Initially bought it to do the stairs but does the whole house. Easy to use, easy to empty. Very very affordable! Good value for money
800 watts for just under £40 is pretty good. The chromium plated extension pipe seems to be worth that. There is a down-side to the cleaner and that is very soon evident: it topples over: I have removed the front central wheel and replaced it with two front wheels, my own design. It is still capable of going 'head-over-heels' however. The two-core cord is more likely to be seen powering a table lamp--but again, it's still fair for the money! If you're not too worried about it 'toppling over' then go ahead and buy it.

4 starts just because of one issue - read description
hoover is perfect and works great. easy to empty and suction power is over the top. the only issue is the head, the actual part that goes on the floor. the wheels are too small and may leave marks on a wooden floor and doesn't really work well on carpets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
