I have the desk top with all the printer/scanner etc,but I also have an old packard bell laptop that I use for ebay and surfing, being a fairly old duel core I thought it would speed it up a bit with an ssd,the old drive is 150gig but over the last couple of years have only used about 20 odd gig so I thought a 64gig would do. this drive was a good buy and was very easy to install,I put a clean install of windows 7 on and ran it for about a month. I must say I was a bit disapointed, didn't see much improvement in bootup or use.
Need a cheap ssd? This is a good grab.

Love it.SSD,S are best upgrade anyone can make.Sata 3 520MB/s read speed with latest firmware. Windows boots in under 20 secs.Open Many programs & applications at the same time.Nothing to dislike about this ssd
Excellent. Works great with MacBook Pro.
Needed a fast boot drive, tried migrating to an OCZ octane but that was no faster than my 2.5" 7200 HDD, (should have read the reviews). The Crucial M4 is much faster, once I downloaded the ISO file from Crucial to upgrade the firmware to version 00F. Don't be put off by this, the instructions from the Crucial website guide you through the process. You will need to burn the downloaded iso file to a CD and reboot, but it only takes seconds to upgrade, and the speed difference is considerable. Highly recommended
