    Gripping

A detailed account of the some of the crucial battles of the Second World War. Beevor doesn't pull punches in describing the heroism, the mistakes, and bloodshed on both sides of the battle. I found it hard to put down, yet often felt disturbed by what I had just read.

  • Anthony Beevor Book as illustrated above.

Having had a holiday in Normandy and seeing the beaches, I was interested in finding out more of DDay. This is a great book and illustrates quite clearly what happened Where and How.
