• Datsun B10: This was the first mass-produced model for the public. It was introduced in 1966 as Datsun 1000. Datsun 510 and Datsun Fairlady are two highly acclaimed versions of the sports car produced by Datsun. Produced by a separate division, Datsun Sports, the 510 was produced between 1968 and 1973. It is also known as Datsun 1600 and Datsun Bluebird in markets outside the USA. Similarly, the Fairlady brand was a sports version that continued production until 1970. These models are easily distinguished as a 2-door convertible coupe model.

Sometimes buyers get confused due to the coexistence of Datsun and Nissan brands in the late 70s. The confusion is usually caused by models such as Nissan Z-series cars, which was among the first cars to be produced after the change of Datsun's name to Nissan.
