This descaler is easy to use, it didn't take long and left no taste or smell afterwards. I live in a very soft water area, so there wasn't much for it to do, I guess that's why it took less time than anticipated. Biggest challenge was propping up a 1.7 litre container in the right place to catch the water - I used some small coffee cups under an empty ice cream container to keep it balanced.
