Great device
I have a machine with an engine that seemed to be running at a lower than spec rpm, so I ordered this to check, and as suspected, the engine was running about 500 rpm below spec at full throttle. I used this device to set the rpm and could immediately tell a difference in the operation of the piece of equipment. Good Device, Terrible Battery
With the low price, and being manufactured in China, I didn't expect this to work as well as it has. I am pleased to say that it is within 2 -5 RPM of the actual measured rotational speed at all ranges I measured. I am pleased with the product. I was not pleased with the included battery. 9 volt batteries should not give 4 volts, which is what the included battery provided.
