Best Shampoo For Dreads I've Used
So unlike the stereo typical 'dread head' I like to wash my dreads regularly. I've used a bunch of different products including the leading 'dreads uk' who make similar residue free shampoo but have found 'Dolly Locks' to be by far the best product available (for Caucasian hair types). Other shampoos left my hair feeling dry and developing itchiness so I was shampooing and using bicarbonate of soda to treat the itching.... Now I've been using Dolly Locks for about three months, my dreads feel amazing! They actually feel tighter after a wash, they don't feel dry and brittle, I haven't itched once since using it and the scent it leaves in your hair smells amazingly fresh and lasts all week. Yes it's a little priceyer than other products, but in my experience it's the best shampoo available ... So unlike the stereo typical 'dread head' I like to wash my dreads regularly. I’ve used many products on my dreads and this is the best. The smell is amazing and lasts for ages. I also bought the tightening spray which has helped my dreads lock much quicker, helping reduce the amount of frizz. The shampoo also lathers better than other products. My dread hairdresser is now recommending it to other clients after using this as she loves it too. It may seem expensive, but lasts a long time and really is worth the money.
