It is a low cost solution for a bed which offers a decent quality for the price it is tagged at - under the 100 pound mark when I bought it. It should be used with care, as some features of its design are not ideal: the small planks that support the mattress are screwed into the main frame, which can be easily broken under sudden movements, and the wood itself isn't very thick. In spite of the previous comments, it offers a decent solution for the price at which it is sold. Apart from that, it is also a nice solution if you are going for a particular look for your bedroom, as I was.

Needed a bed real quick & last minute without costing me the earth and this bed has suited me fine, considering I had no time to be fussy. Instructions aren't great & could be more clear but you figure it out easy enough. Solid & looks lovely. My only peev is it's a little noisy. I'm a fidget as well as a light sleeper and used to a bed which makes no noise at all; it's not really bad & I'd still recommend the bed; it's just a downfall point for me. Unsure if it's because the bed is new or not, but we'll see. Overall it's good.

A Bit fiddly to assemble as the instructions are not comprehensive and do not explain how some of the fittings work. The diagram is not easy to follow and it was quite difficult to see where each scew / dowelling should actually fit, especially as there are multiple holes on 3 sides of each piece of wood! However, once assembled, its an acceptable double bed base for the price paid.

Apart from it being low down which would cause issues to some people I couldn’t be happier with this bed. The price is amazing and it’s so sturdy. The slats are screwed down so it’s really sturdy. Would definitely recommend!

Despite being the cheapest bed I could find, I'm very happy with this. It's nicely minimal and feels sturdy enough. Assembly was easy, the instructions are on a single sheet of paper, which is all you need. Tips: - If you find some holes are misaligned, it's because you have a piece upside down or back to front. - The screws for the slats are self-tapping, so no holes provided. Just requires a bit of effort (or an electric screwdriver). - Don't tighten the screws fully until the whole frame is together. That way you won't accidentally split the wood while moving pieces into position. - I left a gap between the slats and the side rail when putting them in, and haven't had any squeaking.
