Rubbish Battery
Very disappointed with the battery life. At 18 months after purchase the battery started losing charge more quickly. At 2 year after purchase the battery only lasts 20 seconds on max power, absolutely hopeless. I would not recommend a Dyson V8.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Performs just as well as the older corded it was bought to replace.
Bought to replace corded Dyson that we have had for years but wife was finding a little heavy to lug around the house, this one seems to be just as good if it lasts half as long I will be very pleased. Game changer
Had this 4 weeks now. Came from Dyson uk refurbished. Everything looks brand new. Have now got rid of my corded dyson. Does my 4 bedroom house and still plenty of charge left. Good but could be much better....
Light, manoeuvrable and quiet was my first impression. Then the battery ran out! So disappointing and I hadn’t used it for more than 10 minutes on the high power setting. If you have a large house this machine is a definite NO, it takes a long time to charge but is extremely effective when it works. Very impressed
we have a dyson animal upright and have never really been that impressed with it, we thought we would try the V8 cordless and have been totally amazed at the differance. Really easy and light so varying up and down stairs in no problem at all. The battery is a little quick to empty the charge but if you work quickly you can vacuum a whole three bed home before the charge runs out. Pros and cons
