Flimsy, dangerous, burnt white line marks into my clothes
First bad review i've written. But, I feel like this product is not fit for purpose. I was excited to receive this, as I'd read such good reviews about it. However, it did not live up to expectations. On first use it burnt white bar line marks into my clothes. Some of the clothes I'd only just purchased too. I rotated the clothes too and didn't have it on that long, about ten minutes, before it burnt marks into my clothes, as it heated up really fast. Put the kettle on, by time i'd come back clothes were ruined. I'm now left with a big, bulky, useless, glorified clothes horse and out of pocket for the burnt clothes. I also think that because it is so flimsy, and heats up so quickly it would be really dangeous around children and pets. My dog only walked past it and nearly knocked it over, even with clothes on it. I cannot recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

does not serve the purpose
I bought this to be used in our utility area where there is not heating, assuming that this may do the trick, but it never did, even after keeping it on for 2 days, still my clothes were wet, and not really sure how much electricity it consumes. Moderately dangerous hot electrical clothes drier.
The idea of a heated clothes drier that heats the air above the drier from the hot air rising from the heated bars, from which you hang clothes underneath, is not very effective. The air does not heat the wet hanging clothes. Also the paperwork states the top temperature that the heated bars will reach, which is far exceeded by the really much higher temperature actually reached. Dangerous when children or elderly are present, where accidental burns may occur and expensive to operate, with poor results. The heater is very light and easily knocked over. Serves a purpose
I bought this airer to use as didn't want to keep using the tumble dryer due to the gas and electric bills going up and having no heating on atm. This was easy to assemble and very light. It has a lot of room on it. More than the average washing machine load. The aluminium sections get warm quite quickly and do dry the clothes. Simply BRILLIANT a must for anyone who has knitwear they need to dry flat!
Bought this for my daughter, she loves it and it works, dries jumpers that were “dry flat” on the washing instructions. I ordered this and it arrived and her jumper was still damp after 3 days, but this FABULOUS dryer arrived, was plugged in and the jumper was dry in hours but with no damage.
