I must have bought over half a dozen tuners, usually cheap Chinese ones, and these either get lost or just break after a couple of months. I thought I'd spend a bit more on this Fender tuner - not that different from tuners costing a third of the price but hopefully it will last longer (if I don't loose it.) Having said that, the jaws do clamp quite tightly to the instrument so hopefully it won't accidentally fall off and the battery compartment cover is also quite stiff to take off. Otherwise it's an accurate, easy to read tuner that will quickly tune your string instrument. It has modes for guitar, bass, violin and ukulele as well as a chromatic setting, useful for non-standard tunings.

Wanted a new tuner for my Fender Jazz bass. The last one died after only 3 months. Bought a Fender as you get what you pay for. My only reservation is that not easy to see when you are in bass mode. However once there very easy and accurate. Recommended.

Great item, small n compact yet highly effective and useful. I have no link with the company, but I’d like to add the correspondence from them is fantastic. I’d not hesitate to use them again if needed.

Easy to set up and once set stays set. A piece of piss to use and can be left on the instrument.
