This is a new film to me, I was attracted to it by the low price and the fact it's made in the Czech Republic. Don't let that fool you into thinking it's not very good, I've found this film to be quite similar to Ilford's FP4, although it's not quite as good. For example, the film base is easily scratched and the emulsion layer is very much more delicate than Ilford's FP4. The grain isn't too bad but not as good as Ilford's FP4, but perfectly acceptable BUT, it exposes well, it's constantly decent from roll to roll. Develops well in Ilford's ID-11 and dries flat making it easy to scan. If you are a beginner or a seasoned photographer getting back into film based photography, this film is a great starting point.

A budget priced film, but it's actually not that bad a film...far better than the price point would suggest.
