I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a purchase! I'd had tremendous difficulty installing third-party radios in my 2008 MK4 Mondeo (none would power on). As a last-ditch attempt to avoid paying outrageous audio installer fees, I thought I'd give this radio a shot. As far as build-quality goes, well to my eyes this is indistinguishable from a stock Ford radio (in fact I believe it actually IS a modified stock radio, though I cannot know for sure). It's matt silver colour matches perfectly with the interior (interior buttons at any rate), and although I have the Titanium spec Mondeo with brushed titanium fascia I have a feeling this would be a spot-on perfect match with the full silver trim that some Mondeo have. I did have one issue however: when I first installed the radio there were some peculiar electronic glitches with the dash (speedo, rev counter, and Convers+ computer not working); but thankfully this seemed to automagically fix itself by the time I used the car just the very second time round. I'm assuming then this radio needs to power itself off after the standard 1-hour interval [that these radios have built-in] before it can fully mesh with the car's electrics. Obviously, I know nothing about electronics so this is just a guess on my part! But regardless, the radio has worked flawlessly ever since (USB included). Amazing sound (much higher quality than the stock radio) and just a fantastic buy... only wish I'd known about this particular radio six months ago!Read full review

No sounds in car for ages, decided to order one of these retfurbed units with a bit of warranty on it. My old radio turned on, just no sound and I wasn't confident that the problem was with my radio and not something else. So I removed it with the supplied removal tools no bother, unplugged all of the connectors, connected up the new one and BOOM... It's so good having tunes back in the car, so glad i bought it and that it did everything advertised.

The radio fitted perfectly however when I received it the radio was in Chinese and the link to change it did not work for me. I got round this problem by using google translate and translating the word language then going through the menu until I found it. One other thing I was a little disappointed about is when I’m playing mp3 songs via usb it don’t remember the the place it stopped, you have to find it every time. These points aside I think the radio was well worth the money.
