The A330 is a decent little camera which I would place in the 'Basic Point & Shoot' category of Digital Camera. If you are new to Digital Photography then you should consider Fuji's A330. The camera is light and solidly built and the controls are well positioned and easy to use. The screen is a little bit small at 1.5 inches and the display is not the best in terms of it's clarity but, if it's a starter camera that you want, this shouldn't be a problem. Navigating the menu's is quite easy as is loading the software onto a PC and viewing the images via FinePix Viewer. One note of caution - the A330 is known to have problems associated with the 'Power On/Off' function and you should bear this in mind when compairing with other 'entry level' models for purchase. Fuji are great in dealing with issues within the warranty period but as with many camera manufacturers, they don't want to know once it has expired. In summary, the A330 is a reasonable second-hand buy if you are new to Digital and you should expect to pay somewhere in the region of £20 - £25 on eBay for one in excess of 12 months old. The A370 is a better bet if you intend to keep the camera for more than a year - expect to pay up to £40 for this model but the additional £15 or so is money well spent.Read full review
I have tried 3 times to replace this camera, with more expensive, supposedly better cameras and have always ended up still using this one. I can't reccomend it strongly enough, who needs more megapixels? I have shots from this camera framed all around my house, plus it takes perfect indoor pictures, even with the flash. Absolutely perfect for taking pictures of ebay items- whereas with some cameras the flash is so powerful you get a 'white out' effect close up, this camera has exactly the right balance; powerful enough to fill full rooms, yet takes perfect pictures close up. I'd give it 6/5 if I could. when (if!) it breaks I'll only buy another one. Fabulous!
