Good all round remote, easier to navigate with this type of remote than the standard remote that comes with the TV.
This type of remote has to be bought separately, the one that comes with the TV is the standard one. The LG Magic Remote has a thumbwheel like a pc mouse, which is very fast when navigating menus and TV guides and scrolling. Also the pointer makes it easier for typing the web browser and YouTube, I certainly would recommend one, but the price might put some people off, the cheapest I got mine was £39 and other sellers charge a lot more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great piece of useful kit
There's lots this remote does that is new to me so I'm learning as I go along rather than getting bogged down with reading all the instructions in one go. It's exactly as described & works better than the original remote supplied with the TV. The cursor facility alone is worth getting this as I can now whizz around the screen scrolling & highlight at lightning speed. Using the the onscreen keypad is 100 times faster. The audio command is also very useful but needing use to learn it's needs. A great piece of kit saving me much time now & even more when I'm fully conversant with it. Highly recommended.

Better than the standard remote
This is much better than the standard remote control. The floating pointer makes text entry for searches much easier. However it is not cheap and the instructions supplied are not much better than useless. You have to learn the improved facilities the hard way and by trial and error.
