Low Clearance issues may make it a hard install.
Just installing this conversion kit takes patience and some extra thinking when it comes to a limited space install. This is one time that I learned about how hard it is to do a custom installation. Great product if the space is available but you may need to do some advanced skills to make your door fit the headroom space. Great upgrade
Had a second garage door that wasn't powered and i wanted to make it like the main door. Bought this upper track because i needed to lower the door so that the motor and track would fit. After some measuring and cutting off of the verticle rail ,I mounted this top rail and the door lined up perfectly with the opening.. i couldn't be happier with the purchase.. just make sure the packaging comes complete . I was missing 1 bracket and the replacement process required that i send the entire thing back for an exchange [ which isn't horrible but i had already began modifying the original rail] and this would've caused about a 2wk delay. I found the part for 3.99 from my local home depot.. and decided that I'd eat the cost for the missing part.. over all I am happy becuase i now have two powered garage doors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
