The main problem we've had, bearing in mind it's designed for people with impaired vision, is the small cordless phone with large buttons has a very smooth surface. My mother finds it difficult to distinguish between the buttons by touch. The loud speaker button at the bottom is particularly difficult for her. Maybe some stick on dots will help her. We're going to try that anyway. The large programmable buttons on the main phone are much easier for her, being more defined. One tip is we have colour coded the large buttons rather than put photos in as her sight is too poor to see a small photo easily but if the light is good enough she can make out the different colours. All in all its a good phone and quite easily programmed.

It is targeted towards people with visual and hearing impairment so should have good quality sound and a clear easily readable display. The one I bought had neither. The numerals were thin and of an unsuitable typeface and the sound distorted as the volume was increased. I returned it and bought a Gigaset 560 - no picture buttons but otherwise up to the mark.

Was very unsure about suitability of product ( mum 70% hearing loss and not good with technology) best thing I ever purchased, very very happy after teaching her how to answer. Did the job well, also handy as only needs one phone point and fits three different locations as long as separate 3 pin plug in each, THANKYOU GEEMARC very pleased!!!
