If you own a 5 door Fiesta it would be easier, cheaper and much quicker to fit another type of roof bar that hugs the door apertures, if you own a 3 door (as I do) you don’t have that option. Removing the old roof strips and cleaning the channel is time consuming and for me only 1 of the plastic blanking plugs unscrewed successfully, the other 3 I had to drill out, clean and retap the threads. Apart from that all’s good

Had to clean the threads with an M6x1.0mm tap which some may not have access to. Will wait for warmer drier weather before fitting the new rubber strips.

Took a bit of research, but you actually have to peel off the rubber strip on top of the car. I'm pretty sure it's the only option for 3 door cars with no rails. That being said it's very secure, neat and elegant. Also looks pretty aerodynamic. Not overly expensive.
