Apple's customer expect the best and rightly so. The cost of accessories are something not everybody can always afford though. So taking perfectly working original parts and assembling them in recycled spares should be not only welcome but encouraged too. I for one appreciate the fact to be able to reduce waste and buy a great accessory for my Mac.

While the charger kind of works, a lot of the time the light indicator doesn't come on, and the battery charge doesn't increase, it just stays in place. So you have to fiddle a bit with the charger port end for it to work properly. What's worse is that ever since getting this charger, the Macbook Pro regularly just shuts down around 20% battery charge or so. This never happened before getting this product. So I definitely don't recommend getting this, get an original instead.

Absolutely brilliant condition, in the wrappers like when they come with from Apple as new, I thought they had sent a brand new one by accident! What a price too, I'd definitely buy another one :)

The adapter broke the second time I attempted to use it. I plugged the charger in, turned on the power and then there was a large "bang", which was very scary and dangerous. The result being a badly scorched adapter.
