I noted, before I bought this, that some reviewers had complained about it sticking to the floor and being impossible to uses. I was somewhat sceptical, never heard of a vacuum being that strong people couldn't move it because it sticks to the floor, anyway mine arrived and I set it up and switched it on in the kitchen and low and behold it stuck like a limpet to the tiled floor, took all my strength to move it and then that was by lifting it first. When you set it up the instructions tell you to insert two blades (supplied), look like thin wiper blades, one in front and one behind the roller brush under the cleaner head. Well I'd done that and I when came across the sticking to the floor problem I thought what if I remove one of those blade and so I tried it and it works. The cleaner now works just like any other clearer and does a very good job and I'm very pleased with it. Another problem I found was that the electric supply cable is attached too low down. Most upright vacuums the cable enters the via the handle and this allows the operator to manoeuvre the cleaner with one hand while keeping the cable out of the way with the other hand and has the cable is attached at the handle it falls readily to hand. But with this cleaner the cable attaches to the body low down close to the floor making it difficult to reach and you have to bend down to do so. The upshot of which is you don't bother and end up tripping over or fouling the cable with the cleaner which can get annoying. Otherwise it's a very nice cleaner, easy to uses, and simple to empty.Read full review

We have short carpet and it drags on front end! You can hardly push it along! There must be some design fault! I got this for my 79 year old mother who is still quite nimble! She can't use it! I cant use it ! It drags the carpet that much even I struggle pushing it as I have to use 2 hand ! Its only been used once! recall this product as its not good for the brand name! Avoid this model like the plague! .

I received my hoover today and was sceptical at first because it was light and smaller than my previous vax hoover. But it did an amazing job picking up the hairs from my two black cats on a cream carpet. The suction is amazing. The only thing which can be annoying is the short cord and the detachable metal handle. But the performance makes up for the slight design error. The hoover was brand new out of the packaging and arrived on time by yodel. I will be reccomending my friends to this seller. Oh and the price is a bargin!!

You can't go wrong with the original vacuum cleaner brand. Up until recently, I've stuck with their bagged versions, and when emptying this bagless version, I'm still not convinced, usually end up with dust all over the place, I can't see this as an advantage. However, the suction power is very good and brought flat carpets back to life, a much deeper clean. The only design flaw however is the power cord. As I had already read on other reviews, the cord is short, so you have to choose your power points that offer full room accessibility. The second flaw is still with the power cord, where it enters the vacuum cleaner at the bottom of the unit as opposed to the mid-handle area. The problem with this is the cord runs the risk of being run over as you push and pull the cleaner around. So you end up holding the cord out of harm's way and therefore shortening it's reach even more. However, it will just have to be a habit to acquire when it is used.Read full review
