If you are not camera savvy, this is a good camera to start with. For one thing, when I test a digital camera, I download a picture to my computer, and I zoom the photo to 100 per cent. If the picture is still clear, then the camera has a good image sensor in it. And this is true for the little HP PhotoSmart 433 3.1 MP. Although, admittedly, sometimes the pictures mysteriously get "orbs" (white spots on the image). Nevertheless, I trust this little camera so much that when I upgraded to a Canon PowerShot A720 IS, I gave my little HP 433 to my 78 year old mom because of it's simplicity and ease of use.
This camera is excellent for simple point-and-shoot photography. Pros: Simple to operate, user-friendly and easy to understand interface, good picture quality, relatively rugged, includes most of the common features, connects easily to a computer, does not require special software/plugins Cons: No optical zoom, small LCD screen, limited exposure and focus customization, NOT an advanced camera
A perfect little camera for a beginner. my son wanted a digital camera so the HP Photosmart seemed to be an excelent choice. The HP Photosmart is very easy to use and you have the option to keep or delete shots from viewer. Furthermore with 3x digital zoom a great bargian.
I purchased this same camera when it was new, and I still use it for outdoor pictures, it's getting on a bit in age, but it's just the right size for a kid, and these days it comes a low price, it was, and still is a pretty good camera.
This camera works great for taking pictures and you do not have to be a professional. It practically aims and itself and the pictures are great. The camera has a lot of options in you need to darker or lighten the pics, delete pics, etc. I really enjoy the camera.
