Good Drill Press Accessory But It's Got a Problem
This product delivered in all regards, as well as the supplier with prompt shipment, EXCEPT for one major problem that I still haven't been able to fix. The problem is that when the vertical steel tube/column is tightened into the base, the drill is at least 10-degrees (or more) off vertical. This is a major problem!! I have gone through my entire supply of materials to find very thin (0.010" ~ 0.020") sheet metal that I can fabricate a shim to help center the drill head above the work surface and I'm sure that I'll be able to do it. BUT, why should I be forced to waste my time? Could be better
Small part was missing. Had to work on the vertical stop and angle adjustments to make them right. Now it’s fine. For the price I shouldn’t have to do so much adjusting of its features.
