Product Information

Ensure that surface debris gets caught in your in-ground pool's filtration system. The Hayward SPX1082K Weir fits automatic skimmer models sp1082, sp1083, sp1084, sp1085, and sp1086. The white plastic part measures 7-7/8 inches long x 5-1/2 inches wide x 7/8 of an inch thick. Its foam core enables the floating necessary to skim water properly. The weir easily clicks into the skimmer's entrance.

    Hayward old style skimmer

    Came in the original packing from Hayward, and was brand new. It was listed as a newer model and had a different product number than the old SP1070 series I had, but looked identical to my old one. Good valve for the money

    Disappointment

    Weak and flimsy plastic with a piece of foam inside to help it float open/closed. It stated it was a Hayward replacement, rather than an actual Hayward product. Big difference. Buy the actual Hayward and save yourself the trouble of doing this twice. The Hayward is a little more and far superior.

    Well Flap me.

    Suddenly water stopped coming down from the pool to my filter. If skimmer would fill up an empty then fill up then empty. Took the old flap out couldn't see anything wrong with it. ordered a new one installed it now everything works fine.
