I was looking for a 2nd set of squat stands for my home as both my partner and I use them. Thought these looked the job and when they arrived took about half an hour putting them together and was extremely happy at the rigidity and sturdiness of them. There is absolutely nothing to complaing about. A solid, well made (and superbly put together, I thak you) set of stands that do the job very nicely. The ease of movement on the height adjustment is excellent and the locks are top quality too. Very impressed.

But beware the spotter catchers are very low and small, if you have a failure when doing squats you may not be able to drop the bar on these. Otherwise the build quality is good and the stands are easily holding 100kg, and the price is good.

Very good squat stands. Simple to build and very easy to use. Like other users, I doubt the short safety bars would take really heavy weights, so you need to be sensible: stay within your range; similarly, the shortness of the safety bars means you cannot confidently tip the weights forward onto them if you are not able to come up out of the squat. Again--just be sensible. Great for boosting volume in your training, but not safe enough for setting new PBs. For the price, however, they are great. Four stars.

Well built, easy to assemble. Looks durable. Just be aware that the heavier the weight you use, you might find it helpful to rest some weight plates on the legs/base to keep the stands stable, as I did have one small accident during a bench press, where I caught one stand and it toppled. This can be avoided with the solution I suggested. Good value and a reasonably sturdy squat / weight stand.

I looked for a while for a cheap squat rack to use outdoors. My gym is very budget and at the moment the most I shift is 100kg... Because I only have 100kg. This is really sturdy and solid.. That said if I was going to shift serious weight I would get a power rack. I don't feel this is dangerous as some reviews suggest but it is a budget option if you have the budget get the proper kit. If you are serious powerlifter get the proper kit. If you just want options and cheap home gym, get this and be careful when you rack the weight and don't lift beyond your abilities
