You have not witnessed the true quality of your playstation 1/2/3 unless you have seen it in RGB Scart! It is like a HD remaster for everything! As your telly has the three separate signals for the three separate colour channels you see exactly what the console is outputting. The best way to describe it is with a clear PNG file vs a heavily compressed JPG There is no artifacting around any different blocks of colour and this makes the colour much more bold and details appear much more sharp, as if you have also doubled the resolution. Excellent product and price
Bought this cable to play NTSC region games on a PAL Playstation 1 with low expectations after hearing bad things about cheap RGB Scart leads. However, this works perfectly with no audio problems and no video issues besides setting the display to 16:9 aspect ratio when first turning everything on, which (at least on my old CRT TV) was easily fixed by pressing one button on the remote. Looks a lot better on screen than a regular composite cable too. Perfect PS2 scart cable
I've had some bad luck with cheaper RGB scart cables for older game consoles but this PS2 RGB cables delivers the goods and is great value. Arrived quickly and helps make the PS2 look much better on a contemporary HD TV. No audio buzz and vivid colours suggests it's relatively well made for a £5 cable...great stuff!

in my opinion this is the best way to get great picture quality from a PlayStation 2 console even if you are currently using component cables buy this RGB scart cable the quality is great. do not bother with HDMI upscalers etc they are not worth the money.

PS2 RGB - Looks stunning
I'd heard that RGB output to scart looks good, and at £4 I thought to try it. Where composite creates a noisy look on flatscreens, I've never seen my PS2 create such a sharp image. Not as good as a digital picture (it is a tiny bit soft) but by tweeking TV settings it's night and day to composite.
