It Really Does Make Sense To Buy Hisense
I'd read much about Hisense and their growing brand, so I took the plunge with their 58" 4K model, and have been quite impressed with the product, especially given the relatively low price. In fact, go straight to YouTube, as soon as you've installed the TV, and be amazed at the quality visuals at 4K resolution. Native sound quality is perfectly adequate, and far from the worst I've heard. In fact, it's actually better than you'd probably expect in a large TV such as this.
The TV is very easy to navigate, and installation is a breeze as the TV itself takes care of the majority of it. There are also plenty of sound and audio options to tinker with if you wish, including a graphic equaliser in addition to presets. I'd suggest performing a quick Google search to assist in fine-tuning the various sound & picture options because rarely does any TV, of any brand, have things set exactly to your liking, out of the box, so it's well worth the slight inconvenience.
The TV is quite light for its size, and the feet are simplistic, but strong enough to do the job - in fact, they're reassuringly screwed into brass, threaded inserts. In the very near future, however, I'll be wall mounting the TV in order to free-up some much-needed space.
Overall, this really is a great product for 4k entry-level viewing. The TV looks nice, it does its job well, it has a nice collection of popular apps, and it's simply great value for money. It also comes with a 2-year warranty, which is in stark contrast to the more common, 1-year warranty offered by most other manufacturers. On this basis, Hisense clearly have confidence in their products.
In summary, don't pay more when you don't have to - just buy the TV and spend the money you've saved on a decent soundbar, if you fancy one. Really pleased that I bought this. Super product.
