I love this book, it's down-to-Earth, simple, instructional and uses plain English when discussing gardening, unlike a lot of gardening guides that tend to be full of established language only people who have been gardening for a long time are aware of. I have been gardening for years but keep it light/real, so I love the no-nonsense, relateable terminology . I also love the fact it speaks directly to urban gardeners, those with little space and time and encourages people to believe that anyone can do this. Gardening is not only for people with bags of time and expertise and this book makes you believe that. Oh and importantly, the advice works! I have grown rhubarb, peas, onions and some other bits successfully off the back of the instructions in this book and am about to try a tomato frame, as illustrated in here. Thanks to the author, you've helped my life become that little bit greener! Big love : ) :) Read full review
