If you enjoyed Classic Wynton then this is an excellent second purchase. Some of the tracks you might know already but in general the tracks are longer. I particularly enjoyed the Russian Grand Fantasia, attributed to Jules Levy (read up on this classic historic figure). It is a mix of the Red Sarafan (Varlamov 1801-1848) and another well known piece. This is a young Marsalis and he plays with great sensitivity and then proceeds to increasingly technical variations. For a budding player who enjoys classical music I would recommend this - along with some Maurice Andre (esp Trumpet & Organ) and Hakan Hardenburger.
Album is in good condition, although it was preloved. What concerns Wynton Marsalis, He is one of outstanding musician, playing classics is really step forward!
Orinally purchased by me in a vinyl album format and later deleted by the record company, this was an ideal opportunity to acquire this album through a convenient way of an E-bay puchase
