I hesitate to leave neutral feedback but having previously been pleased with my purchases from you, this book was a disappointment in that it was described as good but actually the back cover had been torn partway down the spine but more importantly, was really soiled and dirty. I have always cleaned such purchases with disinfectant wipes but it took the use of about five or six wipes to clean the book's cover. The pages are very well used and it appears to have been read by many, many people.

One of the best thrillers I have ever read. Very realistic and topical. Was hoping for a new book from author and whilst promised the launch day keeps on being putting back and recently announced by Amazon that not now becoming available until October 2024!! despite taking pre orders. No comments from publishers or author and conspiracy theories abound.

Read this book a few years ago , re bought it after lending it out & it’s a fantastic read that stands reading again & again. Certainly won’t be lending this copy out! What a complicated plot that’s so easy to read yet hard to put down... buy it,,, read it that’s my advice. Easy to see why Terry doesn’t write many..

Coimpelling thriller
John Crace in The Guardian said he was a terrific thriller writer so i ordered this and he was right - it is long, complicated and very unpleasant and - nasty things happen but it was one of those once started you have to finish books. Just don't expect any laughs.
