High Quality Refurbished Product and Good Value

For a refurbished product, this appeared to be very well presented, with clear instructions for set up. Although only a moderate DIY-er, I had no problem in installing it, and it worked instantly after reset. Only installed for a few weeks so cannot comment on durability, but am confident that this came from a quality supplier so do not expect any issues.

    Useless Item

Supplied without jumpers to rearrange to suit different Ideal boilers there were no instructions regarding fitting supplier contacted regarding this and I was sent a You Tube link but nothing else and no further mention of the missing jumpers. This item is still awaiting these items, my boiler is not functioning . I would not use this supplier again under any circumstances.

  • Cheapest Refurbish I could find!

My old PCB worked fine but had a little water damage on the contacts between it and the display unit (linked by purple cable) - so no display or control of water temps (was always max hotness). Inspection showed the cable and connectors on the display to be perfect but the connector on the orange PCB green and tarnished. Cleaning it revealed metal missing from strips on connector. This is a simple swap out and replace in an Ideal Isar HE24 - simply ensure the jump connectors are set correctly for you model (HE24, HE30 etc) - it's easy to see what connectors go where as they are colour coded. Cheapest refurbish I could find - delivered next day. Took about an hour to swap round and works perfect! Thanks.

  • Great value considering the alternative. Works a treat, and easy to install, as long as you're careful.

I have an ICOS HE12 in which the PCB got water damaged. I managed to install this myself. The hardest bit was getting the old one out of its housing to put the new one in. As has been said elsewhere, all you need to do is insert the jumpers (read the instructions to see where - or copy what your old one was like), reinsert all the plugs (7 in total I think) and put it back in the boiler. I turned it on, and it was back to life. Very pleased indeed! I can't rate how good quality it is, but it works, so that must be good eh?

  • Replacement PCB for Ideal HE15 boiler

Genuine part replacement for (amongst others) the Ideal HE15 boiler. The PCB is configurable, via some links (supplied) so that it works for a number of boilers, but it's easy to fit once you have worked out the permutation that suits your control panel (the part with the lights and the temperature dial on it). Instructions are provided to help you work out which control panel you have (based on the numbers on the back of the panel) and then you insert the links into the slots on the PCB, so it knows which panel it's connected to. It fits by just inserting it into the slot on your boiler.. then connecting up the 5 or 6 connector blocks. Just make sure these are pressed home tightly. Once you have fixed your PCB, send the old one off to be repaired, so you have a spare for next time... but otherwise my old one lasted 10 years, so this one should too.

  • Good value for the money

Looked around for the best product and the best price. Got this one. As a Yorkshire man I want good value for the money I've paid. I got what I wanted.

  • Forget the black Orange is the way

This PCB is a definite upgrade to the old black PCB which had never-ending transformer burnout issues. The transformer is a bespoke triple secondary output which I could not source anywhere and I could have had made but the price was stupid. The modulation on this card is way tighter and the purge times are longer, especially the 'afterburn' purge time. Forget the black unit, this is the way forward.

  • Working Once Fuse was put In!!

Easy to fit, you don’t need to be an Engineer to fit this, you just need to be able to carefully unplug the old PCB and plug in the new! If in doubt take pictures. Make sure that the jumper settings are correct, as these PCB’s are fitted in different boilers!! Very important that!! Just setup up like your faulty PCB!! This seller clearly had not tested this as the PCB fuse needed replacing!! Once I did that it worked!!

  • Suzi

It worked and will do until we replace boiler in the summer. It arrived earlier than expected which was very good as we had no heating on the coldest day of the year.
