I am not sure why it is amazing. I bought this 2 core processor to replace a single core hyperthreading processor in my old Optiplex GX 520. There is one small snag, which other people have also noted. When I switch on, a message appears saying "Incompatible processor detected. To continue press F1." This is despite me installing the latest BIOS, A11. When I press F1 it starts and everything works. It is faster than the previous processor. I have not had it long enough to know whether it will be reliable. It is easy to install.
