This lens case is surprisingly large once held in your hand, although its actual dimensions fit the item specifications quite well. It feels lightweight, but it is well padded with closed-cell foam. The internal net compartment under the top hatch is suitable for holding front and rear caps, but not for something heavier like a teleconverter. The rear flap is suitable for a thick belt, but this case, filled with a lens that fits properly inside, is too heavy to carry it comfortably on a belt without the addition of a shoulder strap or another shoulder support. The shoulder strap that comes with this lens case feels a bit too narrow and cheap to do the job well. Therefore, it may be better to attach this lens case to a backpack, for example on the padded belt of a well-built camera or trekking backpack. Some camera backpacks, like certain Lowepro and Tamrac models, may have suitable attachment on the sides of the backpack, but not an ordinary trekking backpack (the attachment strap of this lens case is 6 cm wide, way too much to be compatible with Molle or other standard webbing systems). There is no built-in or accompanying rain cover, and the zipper is exposed, not protected against dripping water. Therefore, if it rains, you should protect this lens case by placing it inside a rain-proof backpack, or at least attached to the outside of the backpack and tucked away under a backpack rain cover.Read full review

I got this lens pouch, not to hold a camera lens, but to hold a small tripod I had purchased. The tripod was too small for many of the small tripod cases out there; so I did some research on camera lens sizes and this worked perfectly for the tripod. It is well constructed and I really like that you can attach it to your belt or it has a shoulder strap. I am very pleased with it.

Needed a cover for a large lens that despite a hefty purchase price did not come with one! Had been looking around and found this item from a supplier I have used before and decided to give it a whirl. Not disappointed with the product at all, is it showerproof? Who knows, would I leave the case and lens out in the rain? No of course not. Does it fit the 600mm lens? Yes. But only with the lens hood reversed. Is it of good quality? As of delivery and inspection it certainly seems to be and for the money what more could you ask? I would not like to bang it around too much but then I'm not in the habit of doing so anyway. Only time and use will prove if it can stand up to everyday use but whatever happens its better than the option Tamron offered! Which was no case at all so its a no brainer. Would I put my expensive lenses in to one of these cases? I'm not sure, lets see how this copes with life on the road before I decide. If it survives then I'll be back for a few more of the suckers..Read full review

I bought this hoping my Nikon 200 - 500 would fit as the dimensions indicated it would. It fits in a treat and protects the lens and with the strap is easy to carry around. It seems well made and is a real bargain for the £13 I paid for it.

Good quality, well made. It feels safe to put the lens in it as it is well padded. Good zipper which can be locked with a padlock (not included). Easy to carry. My Tamron 150-600/5,0-6,3 lens fits perfectly in it. Easy to put the lens in it and take it out again. Can't find anything negative about it. The low price makes it a very good choice. I am 100% satisfied with it. Highly recommended!
