    OK if new to these films

    Producing a "making of" book about films produced nearly 60 years ago is never going to be easy, as most of the participants have inevitably passed on. I had hoped that this understandable issue would be countered with unseen production images and interrogation of production notes shedding new light on the films, and, while there are couple of images I haven't seen before, generally this doesn't seem to be the case. Most of the content comes from existing interviews, and anyone who knows much about these films is in for a disappointment if they expect to glean much this book. A view on YouTube of the excellent "Dalek 6388" videos provides much more in depth information on theses' films production.

    John Walsh's book is an excellent companion to the great films. Full of beautiful behind the scenes photographs and commentary on the making of the film, its stars and of course the villainous Daleks! A must have for fans of the films and Who fans at large.
