Well worth the excellent price for a better class of extension tubes.
Instead of using these to use a lens for macro photography, I got them to shorten the minimum focus distance for my 200-600mm lens. Sometimes I’ve found myself too close to a bird to focus with my big lens but these extension tubes have rectified that. That’s what I wanted them for and they work as hoped. I know there are cheap extension tubes available but I’ve read lots of reviews where users complained that the tubes scratched the metal contacts on their camera. There is no issue with that using these tubes. In addition, the focus all works great using a Sony A1 body. The other complaint I saw in reviews about cheap tubes was that their interior surfaces caused reflections that ruined some images. These Kenko extension tubes have a flock (velvety) lining, so there is no problem with reflections. I highly recommend these tubes!

Sturdy addition to my kit - although with slight movement between lens and body when attached via extension tubes.
Good build quality and works well with the lens. The only issue I have with the device is that there is some slight movement between the camera body and the lens if attached to either or both of the extension tubes. I am not sure this should be the case?

Well made but limited to two tubes.
It is good because it stops internal reflections, But possibly odd that Sony A mount has Three Tubes this only two. Not sure that this is a real limitation, but you only find that out when you lack extension for your purpose.

Having done a lot of research as to brands and sometimes unbranded extension tubes I knew that I wanted some that were quality and stable. The Kenco tubes are excellent and a great investment should you not have a dedicated macro lens. Or if you have they are a welcome addition. Dont waste your money on flimsy plastic ones with poor electronic contact .
