    Kuryakyn Backrest

    This unit is worth every penny, easy to install with ample adjustment. Installed this backrest before a 350 mile ride and it really helps support my back with no rider fatigue. Even my passenger made a comment on how she felt more secure during braking with the backrest installed. The quality of the chrome is excellent and looks better than some of the chrome shipped from the factory.

    So So quality

    The backrest itself is nice. It was easy to install and adjust to fit me and it is comfortable. However the backrest has a pouch that velcros to the back of the backrest and it started pulling the material off of the backrest itself. I'm not sure if this is a common problem on these or if I just got one of lesser quality one. I used some contact cement to fix the issue but I don;t think this should of happened after one day of use.

    My back is happy!

    One of the best things I bought for my street glide. Long trips makes your back feel better! It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it looks good and serves a useful purpose.

    Quality Backrest

    This is a well made backrest assembly. I think Kuryakyn really hit the mark with this product. The design allows for easy installation and virtually unlimited adjustability. I did have to fit-check the install location 2 or three times to get it to line up with he seat position. Not a major inconvenience though. The texture and stitching of the pad matches up very well with the stock seat.

    If I had to do it again I would pass on this one

    I put on a lot of miles on in week and I have had good luck with Kuryakyn products in the past so I gave this a shot..easy install took ten minutes,and comfortable...But after a week or so...The heel of my boot caught the upholstered front part of the rest and it just peeled right of.. It is now at a upholstery shop getting redone.. really cheap quality vinyl.For what I paid for it.. better quality material should have been used .Pass on this one..
