Bought this multi-tester as I couldn't find mine. My original thinking was to buy a cheap one and use it until death. When I received the metre, quickly, I was surprised by how good the little one was. Very decent manufacturing; functions and covers all that I needed; inexpensive. I doubt you will find a better value multi-meter than this one. Also it is pretty good on readings accuracy too. I feel very happy to recommend this item, particularly to the diyer, who always should have one in their tool kit.

Product is cheap and you get what you pay for. The screw holding the battery compartment as worn out after a few openings and the leads are not very good. The 10A current is unfused so a short on the 10A current will blow the device up. On the plus side the parts are accurate as tested against our voltage/current/resistance standards. Bought 3 and will not buy again.

The multi-meter is good quality and its a light portable small unit that's very handy with a back flap that allows you to stand the unit on your workspace securely. The meter is also very easy to use.

I'm no expert, but I think this does the job I need. I haven't checked all the functions yet, because I am still at an early stage in the project I am trying to develop. But the device seems well laid out and the instructions are clear.

This is a cut above other budget multi-meters. It is accurate against my Mastech reference multimeter, it's backlit and has a 'hold' function. The case is solid and comfortable and though the probes aren't the best they are functional. Highly recommended for a knockabout site tool.
