Item arrived on time, tools were included for the job, which after watching a youtube video, was very easy. Battery, even though third party and not an original battery, fitted perfectly, and has retained charge for over a full day of average use, which the original battery did when the phone was new. Easy to change, easy to put in, and problem free once using.

So this is not a genuine LG product but a generic copy, the description is misleading in this respect in my opinion, it may be "Genuine Capacity" but it is not genuine LG. As to the quality / safety of this part then I've no idea only time would tell.....

The battery does not have the LG branding on like the pictures present and the label print does not match the battery I took out of my Nexus 5. This might mean that it's not a genuine battery or that, as it's an aftermarket part, LG didn't print the label correctly. I lean towards the former but the choice is yours to make. With that said, the battery has been working flawlessly over the last few weeks so I have no complaints about the performance. I highly recommending flashing the Nexus 5 with Lineage OS 14 as this has helped extend the battery life to a full day. The tools are quite flimsy, and I broke a couple in the process of taking the phone apart, but are suitable enough for a one-time job. Overall, it's exactly what I would expect for the price I paid. If you're looking for genuine "genuine" then I suggest looking at a more expensive option.Read full review

The battery installed and worked with no issues, however the initial capacity was poor; from a full charge it would go down to 15% or less after only a day's worth of light usage (one or two calls, 4G data switched off, wifi on for a few hours a day but little use). However, over the coming few weeks and with multiple full charge cycles the battery is approaching the capacity of the original battery when it was new. It's hard to gauge if it was as good as the original, but it's enough for me. And for a few pounds you can't really argue with that!

My Nexus 5 was misbehaving frequently and was losing its charge really quickly. This new battery has made the phone work like new again - I'd recommend getting one if you are having strange problems with an old Nexus 5. Took me about 15 minutes to replace the battery - there are videos on You Tube that tell you how to do it. Don't know how long the battery will last but its great after a couple of weeks. And great value for money too as it saved me from forking out for a new phone.
