Good to have some work by young Australian Rosemary Miller -- but hard to pinpoint which character she is on screen! Good copy and clean.

'Emergency Ward 10' was television's first offering of a hospital 'soap' and was made by ATV between 1957 and 1967. It gave us an insight into the life and death struggles of working in a hospital and, like 'Dixon of Dock Green' and 'Z Cars', two equally popular series about the police force which ran around the same time, was a massive hit. The screen/film version of 'Emergency Ward 10' is a reminder of those days when the NHS was very different to today yet the system still seemed to work. No bugs and viruses hidden under the bed sheets, just a well portrayed view, with tears to match, of our medical profession. One of the film's stars, Michael Craig, according to my wife, has Pierce Brosnan type looks and if it wasn't for the rugged looks of Sean Connery, you could say 'James Bond' might have been a totally different character had Craig been considered. So why did I buy it? To see myself again as an 8 year old with a hole in my heart yet I'm still alive to tell the tale!Read full review
