    Series A and B teach reading, series C teaches complementary skills

    My son is learning to read very fast with this, the c series workbooks are teaching him to write as well. Don't let your kid write in the books, their meant to write in their own exercise book, it's so lovely to here them read what they've written themselves!

    Brilliant books to help early readers

    Really pleased with these books - my granddaughter (aged just 5) is missing out on her 'reception' year at school and mum and dad were struggling with home schooling - in particular reading. I bought this collection to help and I am so pleased I did with the aid of 'rewards' my granddaughter is now very happy to sit down and read - to anyone who will listen. The content is simple and she is gaining in confidence recognising key words.

    Classic readers based on keywords

    Classic stories of Peter and Jane. These books do not follow the modern phonics teaching and instead introduce keywords. I have found is good in combination with the modern phonics learning, but later in the process after many digraphs and tricky words have already been learnt towards the end of reception. These are great for building confidence.

    Easy reading for beginners

    Very easy for teaching children to read as there’s not to many words per page making it easier to recognise words on next pages hopefully by the time we finish all the books my granddaughter will be able to read unprompted

    Not to be missed

    Old Fashioned but absolutely the best with helping children learn to read once they know theit ABC. I used them for my children from 1966 and have then gifted to present day young relatives. Would highly recommend.
