I particularly like this decoder because it is small enough to fit in most N gauge locos and because it is wired. The decoder can be hard wired saving the need for a socket. This further saves space inside the already small locos. Particularly useful when converting older locos. Looks nice too.

One thing I've been in electronics until I retired and would like the chip to come in Anti- static bags should only cost a few pounds. As was supplied in a normal plastic bagReply from: blwtechnicalservices- Feedback replied to by seller blwtechnicalservices.- Feedback replied to by seller blwtechnicalservices.The bare wire, NEXT18, 6-pin and 21-pin decoders are supplied in Anti-Static bags, but we've found the 8-pin and PLUX22 decoders travel better with their pins wrapped which then makes them too thick for a sensibly sized anti-static bag, and larger bags would need to result in a higher cost, which we would rather avoid.

Looks new and of quality build. Cost less than many other decoders. Seller was quick to respond, delivery was fast and a shiny brand new good looking device arrived . Good seller comms. Happy with purchase, hapy to use again.

It would have been great value for the money, the quality of the circuit board also looked great unfortunately the condition of the speaker was very poor it crackled. I got in contact with BLW they were very supprsed that the speaker was only crackerling and was as bad as I described, however they were brilliant no fuss no hassle, apologised said it was unusual and offered a refund.
