      Heavy duty product

      Good product , easily supports my sister wheel which is much heavier than standard. It’s a 285 off road wheel so very big and heavy My rear door did not have a plate fitted previously and as such did not have any holes. Could do with a template and support back plate for people fitting to a virgin door . Great product , a template would have made fitting much quicker. A back plate had to be created as a support . Once again this should be an add on option ( would have paid more for it if this was included)

      A good bit of kit

      A very solid and functional wheel carrier that does the job. Straightforward to fit with easy to follow instructions that in some parts would perhaps merit a bit more detail.

      Landrover wheel carrier

      This is a sturdy and heavy product. The instructions to fit it are pretty poor especially on fitting the door plate. I think what is needed is some kind of template to work to as I was reluctant to start drilling the back door, Some of the fitting required a 2nd person when trying to bolt on the main swing bracket, as the door gets in the way of fitting the bolts and the weight is difficult to hold. Having said this now it is fitting it does the job perfectly. Some people might have found it easier but I feel sure it is not due to the instructions.

      Better than expected for a cheap swingaway carrier

      Britpart but heavyweight with decent looking welds, better than expected, looks like a direct copy of the Mantec one albeit lower quality. How long it holds up over time is still to be established

      Reasonably easy to fit although instructions could be clearer. Do not forget to purchase additional spacers for alloy wheels. Design well thought out to minimise vehicle modifications (only 2 additional holes required in place of pop rivets)
