Rock solid and versatile mount.
This is a very solid and very versatile monitor/laptop stand, and it is less than half the price of others that don't offer nearly as much. As you can see from the photos, I needed to have 2 monitors stacked to fit in my computer desk for a home office. I wanted them far back to maximise desk space and they only just fit in height wise. By removing the 2 'forearms' and offsetting the post to one side I was able to achieve this and it is all rock solid. Very happy with the setup.

Everything you need for a tidy desk.
Working from home full time over a laptop was starting to become uncomfortable. I wanted a desk-stand to elevate an old tv used as a monitor, and discovered this stand that could also elevate my laptop. It is strong and sturdy, yet each screen or laptop remains easy to micro adjust. solid and heavy duty
Received product this morning Friday 17th January 2020 . On opening the boxes i could see right away that this product is extremely well made,the workmanship is of top quality and the finish is great too. The brackets made for the item are extremely thick and solid ,definately will not fail . The arms are also solid . Max weight it can take is 22kg ,which is great. Everything you need to assemble the item is very good quality ,including the tools. Only thing you need is a screwdriver and a small adjustable spanner. Solid!
The monitor I am using is 27 and the laptop 15.6 anything bigger will not work. The monitor is a thin frame and it still obstructs the usb ports on the laptops side. Consider your monitor size first. The build quality of the stand is of the material used to build intergalactic rockets. Very solid item. The arms do not extend forward or back. Your desk has to be in line with your vision and my desk was too far back for me to see things clearly. Elephant performing pirouettes in my front room
This product has revolutionised my home office set-up. After four months of working from home, the drawbacks of working on a laptop perched on a shoebox on a folding table were becoming apparent, even though I had a separate keyboard. While browsing for something slightly different, I fortuitously came across this product, which with increasing excitement I realised could be the solution to my problems. The laptop stand/clamp is incredibly heavy and sturdy--it definitely has elephantine qualities. The assembly instructions looked complicated and the diagrams were rather small, but in fact, as I am not using the monitor arm, there was not a lot of assembly required. The whole process, working slowly and carefully, and with one instance of backtracking when screws were not put in straight, took about 45 minutes. I am delighted with the result. At last, the screen is at head height and I am no longer hunching over. I had not expected that a single purchase could make such an impact on my home working environment. I had to move the position of the clamp on the table to the right to achieve the best positioning. This was because the table is very small. To start with, the upright bar of the stand had been impinging on my visual field. A smaller tray for the laptop would have suited me better by making the stand more manoeuvrable. I still think that a more lightweight metal could have been used. The product is incredibly sturdy, but it's a bit of overkill. I just hope my folding table can withstand the weight! Overall Good Value
Reassuringly good solid piece of kit. I primarily wanted an arm to hold and retract a laptop operating as both stand alone and as secondary screen real estate for desktop. The laptop base was larger and more substantial than expected. The connection of the base to the arm is possibly the only “weak” point that I have identified, since it has a little “give” in it, but not to any huge detriment and it may be that I just need to remove and reposition more firmly.
