From 1979 level 42 have been and alway will be one of the best jazz funk bands out there. There music has never disappointed me in anyway I've loved their music from the first time I heard of them singing "Hot Water" that was the point I was totally hooked on them. I did have all the albums on vinyl but when your moving house I somehow lost them in transit, but finding this collection in a compact CD package I just had to buy them to get my collection back up and running again, but when I read the feedback on this perticular collection someone condemned them as they were not in CD cases. Now in all honesty when I purchased this collection I was in doubt but when it arrived I was overwhelmed with the CD's they were like a mini version of the actual vinyl covers I really couldn't of asked for anything perfect, as I have another set of CD's (ELO) in their original covers like their original vinyl covers, so it's like having my vinyls back again but in miniature form. This was a brilliant find as I have been looking to build my level 42 collection up again so anyone who likes level 42 I can honestly say this is the collection you want to get you started it was worth every penny and Music Magpie are the best for buying your music from totally reliable good quality music and great prices. Thank you Music Magpie for helping me find what I wanted and making me an extremely HAPPY customer The pictures included are the albums you get in this fantastic collection Read full review

Five excellent albums from an excellent and still very active band (they are touring the far east as I write this). The packaging isn't the best, they come in card envelopes, but for less than a tenner this is acceptable. They will still keep in good condition if you don't throw them around. Ideal for anyone new to the band. This item together with the recent Essentials 3 CD set and you have a good percentage of their best output for a little over £10!

Great album collection if you're a Level 42 fan. I had two of the five albums but still good value to purchase the 3 I didn't have.

Not much money for 5 great cd's. Would have been five stars if they came in hard cases. Other than that a good deal.

Everything good - would've got 5 stars if they'd swapped True Colours for Standing in the Light.
