Although there were some hick-ups regarding fitment for my ladder, possibly due to age, seller charged me for a new hinge kit which fit perfect, sent a prepaid envelope to ship the original part back, and credited my account for the initial part in short order.     2nd times a charm. Make sure you look closely at your locking mechanism before ordering because there are three options and the pin to pin distance and barrels are different even though my ladder said it was a 1A. I sent my original order back today.
