after seeing friends 2000 pound systems and other friends 800-1200 pound systems I can honestly say these are amazing and cheap. These sound better than most 800 pound tv 5.1 systems and are not far off my mates 1600 pound system. Not only are these great in 5.1 but if set up correctly through say Kodi and using the wasp they can reach the hightes of the 1600 pound range, just. I just haven't found better yet and ive had mine 10 years. They are not over rated. Awsome sound and amazing punchy bass for very little money. thought i would update this post. i wanted and needed to bring all my devices into a amp for the passthrough and was worried i wouldnt beat these speakers, the z5500 but after perchasing a denon amp 2060 and q acoustic 310i 5.1 setup with 3020is on front i feel i have gone up 2 steps or more. its noticable, yep base isnt as thumping and feeling as the z5500 b ut its there its subtle and effective. strangely i first tried the q acoustics center speaker by disconecting the z5500 speaker and the differenace wasnt that biog, actually for my untrained ear not much at all but once i put the whole 3010i package together it became obvious that the amp mixing was great. basicly if your going to replace your z5500 for a 5.1 AMP SETUP I HIGHLY RECOMEND THE 3010IS AND IT WILL BE BETTER. Just dont get some generic comes with tv ones lol.Read full review

When i first saw these speakers online i knew i had to have them. All the reviews of them are pretty much perfect so i thought nothing could go wrong with them. When i first got them, not gunna lie, but i was shocked how big they actually were. I was expecting some little 10cm high speakers and an equal sized control panel but i was so wrong. Each speaker stands about 19cm high as well as the control panel and the centre speaker is about 13 cm high. The subwoofer is absolutely massive and you definately need some space for this badboy or a really big desk (which i luckily have cause i have no where else this thing will fit in my room) which it can sit under. The quality of them is outstanding and setup is so easy, it's pretty much just plug and play. You get some really nice long cables for all the speakers (back two speakers having longer wires than the front 3) and they are even packaged by size making it easy to select the right cable for the right speakers. I would seriously recommend getting these speakers, there are absolutely no downsides at all, i would even say the price of these is an upside because you get more than your monies worth with these speakers.Read full review
These speakers are as good as packaged 5.1 surround sound gets, the bass is bone shaking but not too overpowering for the speakers (at least not on the recommended subwoofer volume). You can plug just about anything into them and if you pass the DTS/Dolby Digital signals straight to the reciever via coax or optical then the sound quality is amazing, truly cinema-like. The only way up from this set of speakers is by going down the route of AV amplifier with separate speakers which is a minefield and takes alot of know-how to get your setup just right, not to mention the high cost.

These are still great PC or surround sound speakers and for the price I was able to purchase them on here was great. The sound quality is brilliant. When tested at full capacity, I was able to vibrate my floors.

Consistently great sounding and perfect for music and films but has a high standby power consumption as expected.
