    Purchased 3 motor speed controllers. These weren’t the cheapest on eBay but preferred a UK supplier for speed/ quality. Items arrived in the morning on the date specified. Packaged in anti-static bags and a robust cardboard box. There was no instructions leaflet which would have been useful if it included dimensions. I was a little confused having read a previous review that said soldering of a bridge connection was required. Didn’t see anything that needed soldering and all three worked perfect

    Good value and functionality!

    This is a simple, but very good value, module which allows you to control the speed of a motor, or alternatively, you could use it as a dimmer for a lamp. The quality of components and the assembly is better than expected. A twist switch is incorporated in the potentiometer, meaning power-on and speed control is operated by one knob. In order to use the board with the lower voltage range (3-15V) you must bridge two pads on the board with solder. Please be ware: the pads are quite small, and I had some difficulty soldering a sufficient amount on - it didn't want to stick. I later discovered that significant current must pass through this bridge. My initial solder bridge was too thin and the joint heated up due to high resistance.     Does what it says on the tin

    There are currently 2 types of cheap PWM controllers on eBay - this one has the advantage of have 4 off M3 screw mounting holes - it also seems to have a wider speed range compared to the other when used with my 3D printers cooling fan.

    Useful as a LED dimmer and does the job for me!

    These are great little pwm controllers. I actually use mine as a DIY 3W LED dimmer which goes with a microscope. I don't get any flickering except on the minimum pot setting. I like that it is small, incorporates an on/off switch into the pot, and is solder-free for connecting input and output wires.
