The material is a bit stiff even after washing, however this is likely to soften after multiple washes. I’m delighted that the seersucker doesn’t need ironing - great result and the main reason for purchasing. For info, the material on the back of the cover and pillowcases is plain not seersucker.

It matches my LR carpet, the wide seersucker pattern looks swish, it's machine washable & thanks to the double thickness, keeps the warmth in my living room!
